The 49ers' star quarterback, Colin Kaepernick, seems to be in better shape than before following his month-long training. His hard work appears to have made him into a better quarterback.

According to Comcast Sports Net, the 49ers quarterback has been training during the 10-week off-season session in Phoenix, Arizona. The site states that Kaepernick has been working out five days a week since January 12. In addition to working out, he has also been watching films and "fine-tuning his mechanics," reports CSN.

Kaepernick is not alone in his efforts either. He has been working with quarterback coaches, Dennis Gile and Mike Giavondo. Kurt Warner, two-time NFL MVP, has also helped Kaepernick to train by spending 10 training sessions with him.

Kaepernick diligently followed his training schedule for the past 10 weeks, reports CSN. From 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., he would condition and lift weight at the Exos training facility. Then he would go to the film room. Afterwhich, he would work on his mechanics and throw passes until 1 p.m..

CSN shares that Kaepernick needed to improve his accuracy and touch on short throws. It seems that these were the areas he focused on during training.

Coach Gile said, "I don't think there was a throw he couldn't make when he first got here. I just think the consistency and efficiency of it was what we wanted to get better at, and I think that's where we made tremendous strides. He became a lot more consistent and efficient with those balls."

The coach called Kaepernick an "ideal student" because he was so willing to learn from any available source.

"He made strides on some bio-mechanical things and understanding the game, from a different standpoint....The thing that blew me away the most was how coachable the guy is. He listens to you....The first time I told him to do something, he did it and never went back to the old way he was doing it. To me, that's pretty incredible. It's hard to stop doing something you've been doing your whole life," Gile remarked.

According to Sports World News, the quarterback showed-off his newly-honed atleticism through a video posted on his Instagram. Since then, the clip has been circulating throughout many media outlets, one of which is CBSSports.com.
